Arthur worked my hard for a family business in the cardboard industry. He married Olive Kew on 11th June 1955 and raised three children, Stephen, David and Jane. He was a very happy man who loved a laugh and told many jokes and stories of his time in the war were he served as a cook in the royal navy. He brought a smile and a laugh to everyone he met and was very much loved by all. He had the holiday of a lifetime in Australia and was proud to be at his son's David wedding on 4th October 2008. He returned to England on 31st October after a lovely trip. Sadly on 8th November he died suddenly after no illness and he did not suffer but left his family broken hearted. We all think of Arthur with my love, kindness and laughter. He was a great man and now in heaven making them laugh.
